Description
Español: La fuente de Wittelsbach es una fuente monumental situada en la parte norte del centro de Múnich, Baviera, Alemania. La fuente se construyó entre 1893 y 1895 siguiendo un diseño del escultor Adolf von Hildebrand. La fuente tiene una pila de 25 m de largo y representa las fuerzas del elemento agua, con la de la bendición a la izquierda y la alegoría de la destrucción a la derecha.
English: The monumental Wittelsbacher fountain in the northern part of central Munich, in Bavaria, Germany. The sculpture on the left is of a woman seated on a bull, holding a bowl, and depicts the healing qualities of water; on the right, a man sits astride a horse and hurls a rock, representing water's destructive power. Built between 1893 and 1895, the design follows drawings of the sculptor Adolf von Hildebrand.

Construída entre 1893 e 1895, o projeto segue os desenhos do escultor Adolf von Hildebrand.
Deutsch: Der monumentale Wittelsbacherbrunnen am Lenbachplatz im nördlichen Stadtzentrum von München. Die Skulptur auf der linken Seite ist eine auf einem Stier reitende Frau, die eine Schale hält. Sie soll die heilenden Qualitäten des Wassers darstellen. Eine auf einem Pferd reitende männliche Figur, die einen Felsbrocken schleudert, soll die zerstörerischen Fähigkeiten des Wassers symbolisieren. Der Brunnen wurde zwischen 1893 und 1895 nach Entwurfszeichnungen des Bildhauers Adolf von Hildebrand errichtet.

Została zbudowana w latach 1893–1895 według projektu rzeźbiarza Adolfa von Hildebranda. Znajdująca się po lewej stronie rzeźba kobiety siedzącej na byku i trzymającej czarę symbolizuje uzdrawiające właściwości wody, natomiast znajdująca się po prawej stronie rzeźba mężczyzny siedzącego okrakiem na koniu i ciskającego głazem symbolizuje niszczycielskie właściwości wody.

Socha nalevo představuje ženu, sedící na býkovi, která drží v ruce misku a symbolizuje léčivé vlastnosti vody. Socha na pravé straně je muž, který sedí obkročmo na koni a vrhá skálu - symbol ničivé síly vody.
