Description
English: The Promenade is a 1.5 Km long beach road on one side of which lies the sea and on the other side there are many important french time buildings and landmarks. The promenade is an important part of the daily life of Pondicherry and one can see lots of morning and evening walkers.

On a Saturday evening, this place was bustling with crowd and walkers. A long exposure shot eliminated the people, but captured enough of the lot moving in motion (at the right hand side of the street).

The building that is seen in the photograph is now a Cafe (an important tourist attraction too), where there used to be a port before the 2004 Tsunami.

The photograph attempts to portray a moment in this place.
