Description
English: Wayside cross at Wolperhaff / Consdorf (Luxembourg). The cross commemorates the death of a policeman who was attacked, killed and almost completely eaten by a pack of wolves in the severe winter of 1815.
Deutsch: Wegekreuz in Wolperhaff / Consdorf (Luxemburg). Der Text des Kreuzes erinnert an einen Polizisten, der im harten Winter 1815 von einem Rudel hungriger Wölfe angegriffen, getötet und fast komplett aufgefressen wurde.
Italiano: Croce in pietra in località Wolperhaff / Consdorf (Lussemburgo). La croce commemora la morte di un poliziotto che fu attaccato, ucciso e quasi completamente mangiato da un branco di lupi nel rigido inverno del 1815.
