Orthetrum pruinosum Burmeister, 1839

Description
English: Orthetrum pruinosum, Crimson-tailed Marsh Hawk, is a species of dragonfly in the Libellulidae family. The males have a deep red abdomen and a powder (or pruinose) blue thorax and basal segments of the abdomen. The male of this species has a grey frons (face), compared to the bright red face of O. Chrysis and is the easiest way to tell the difference.
