Description
Français : Inaugurée en l'an 2000, cette croix celtique est un présent de l'Irlande au Québec en remerciement de l'accueil que les Québécois ont offert aux immigrants irlandais durant la grande famine du 19ème siècle.
À la base du monument on peut lire

Aux Québécois en reconnaissnce de leur exceptionnelle solidarité humaine à l'endroit des Irlandais lors de la Grande Famine

Ce monument est situé rue McMahon, une rue ainsi nommée pour honorer la mémoire de l'abbé Patrick McMahon, premier curé de l'église Saint-Patrick où il fut inhumé en 1851.
