Description Boundary stone or remains of a cross on Hameldon on Dartmoor. The inscription on it was done long after it was originally placed. This stone on Hameldon was used by Edward Augustus Seymour, the 11th w:Duke of w:Somerset, to mark the boundary of his estate in 1854. It had probably been in use for centuries prior to 1854.
