Gokul Pithe, a recipe from Bengal presented in a heart-shaped glass bowl.

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Gokul Pithe is a near forgotten recipe from Bengal. Though it is made during winter months like most of other 'pithe's, khejur gur is not used in the preparation. Other uniqueness comes from usage of maida rather than rice flour for most pithe. Coconut and khoya mixed together, coated in maida deep fried and dunk into sugar syrup. Irresistible! Presented in a heart-shaped glass bowl and decorated with cinnamon sticks and cardamom pods.
